Prácu architekta potrebuje každý koho zaujíma prostredie, v ktorom trávi nezanedbateľné množstvo času. A každý kto to myslí s kvalitou priestoru vážne. Snažíme sa vytvárať domovy, živé miesta a príjemné prostredie. Sme prítomní od návrhu, cez povoľovanie až po realizáciu stavby. Pri tom všetkom si dobre uvedomujeme, že pracujeme s financiami, ktoré nie sú naše, a ktoré majú jasné limity.

 

Anyone who cares about the quality of an environment, in which they spend a significant amount of time, needs the services of an architect. We strive to create homes, vibrant spaces, and pleasant environments. We are involved from the design phase, through the permitting process, all the way to the construction phase. Throughout this process, we are fully aware that we are working with funds that are not our own and that have clear limits.

As a general rule, the sooner, the better. We’re happy to help you choose the right space or plot of land, or to assess a property you own or are interested in. (Poor) quality can be hidden in the most unexpected places.  

Spolupráca je vždy výsledkom dohody medzi architektom a klientom. Môže začať už pri hľadaní miesta, alebo formou consultingu. Priestory navrhujeme, projektujeme a následne na nich dozeráme počas výstavby. Naša práca často presahuje základné vnímanie role architekta a ocitáme sa na meetingoch, ktoré súvisia napr. firmenou identitou, brandingom a pod. Môžeme byť k dispozícii pri návrhu konceptu, ale aj pri výbere posledných zariaďovacích predmetov.

Collaboration is always the result of an agreement between the architect and the client. It can begin as early as the site search phase or take the form of consulting. We design and plan spaces and then oversee their construction. Our work often goes beyond the design of physical spaces, and we find ourselves attending meetings related to corporate identity, for example. We can assist you with the initial design concept as well as with the selection of the final furnishings.

Cenové ponuky pripravujeme vždy individuálne. Každý projekt je iný, preto neexistujú dve rovnaké zadania ani dve identické cenové ponuky. Každá nehnuteľnosť je jedinečná svojou orientáciou, technickým stavom a charakterom, rovnako ako požiadavky a očakávania každého klienta. Hlavnou zložkou pri naceňovaní tvorí čas, ktorý nad projektom strávime my a pridružené profesie (statika, technické zabezpečenie budov, požiarna ochrana, a pod.).

That is why we always prepare offers on a case-by-case basis. Every project is different, so no two assignments are the same, nor are any two offers identical. Every property is unique in terms of its orientation, technical condition, and character, just as every client’s requirements and expectations are unique. The main factor in pricing is the time that we and our associated professionals (structural engineers, building services engineers, fire safety engineers, etc.) spend on the project.

Každý projekt začína architektonickou štúdiou, ktorá je z pohľadu celého projektu kľúčovým dokumentom. Ide o konceptuálny návrh, ktorý definuje základnú podobu stavby alebo interiéru. Práve tam sa definujú výmery, objemy a materiály, ktoré určujú nielen ako projekt bude vyzerať, ale aj koľko bude stáť. Ďalšie stupne, pri ktorých už vstupujú úrady do procesu sú projekt pre stavebný zámer a projekt stavby. Poslednou časťou je realizačný projekt (označovaný aj ako vykonávací), podľa ktorého sa stavba realizuje. 

Every project begins with an architectural design, which is a key document for the entire project. It is a conceptual design that defines the basic form of the building or interior. This is where the floor areas, volumes, and materials are defined, which determine not only what the project will look like, but also how much it will cost. The next stages, at which government agencies become involved in the process, are the preliminary design and the construction design. The final stage is the construction drawings, according to which the building is constructed.

Dĺžka celého procesu je obvykle obsiahnutá v týždňoch, resp. mesiacoch. Komerčné a rezidenčné projekty interiérov, ktoré nevyžadujú komunikáciu s úradmi vedia byť hotové v priebehu niekoľkých týždňov. Naopak, rozsiahle rekonštrukcie s najvyšším stupňom pamiatkovej ochrany môžu trvať mesiace.

The duration of the entire process is typically measured in weeks or months. Commercial and residential interior design projects that do not require interaction with government agencies can be completed within a few weeks. In contrast, large-scale renovations involving the highest level of historic preservation can take months.

Táto časť je označovaná ako inžinierska činnosť, alebo "inžiniering" a je bežnou súčasťou výkonu povolania. Nie však nutnou. Môže sa sťahovať len na určitú fázu, ale aj na celý proces od vybavenia stavebného zámeru až po kolaudáciu stavby.

This aspect is a common part of the profession. However, it is not essential. It may apply only to a specific phase, or to the entire process, from the approval of the construction project through to the final building inspection.

Naša práca nekončí odovzdaním projektovej dokumentácie. Radi vám odporučíme overených dodávateľov a remeselníkov a počas celej realizácie zabezpečíme autorský dozor. Dohliadame na to, aby bol projekt realizovaný presne podľa návrhu a zachoval si kvalitu aj myšlienku, s ktorou vznikol. Samotnú realizáciu stavby alebo interiéru však prenechávame skúseným realizačným partnerom.

Our work does not end with the handover of the project documentation. We are happy to recommend trusted contractors and craftsmen, and we provide design supervision throughout the entire construction process. We ensure that the project is carried out exactly according to the design and retains both the quality and the original vision behind it. However, we leave the actual construction or interior work to our experienced implementation partners.

Projektant je súhrnný názov pre všetkých, ktorý sa podieľajú na tvorbe projektu projekčnou činnosťou. Preto aj architekt môže byť označený ako projektant. Obvykle je touto otázkou myslené, či architekt je "len ten kreatívec" a pre projekt treba hľadať stavebného ižiniera. Poskytujeme komplexný projekčný servis, ktorého súčasťou sú aj ostatné profesie. Každý kvalitný projekt je výsledkom spolupráce architektov a špecializovaných stavebných inžinierov. Architekt koordinuje celý návrh a spoluprácu jednotlivých profesií tak, aby výsledkom bola funkčná, kvalitná a realizovateľná architektúra.

Usually, this question implies whether an architect is "just the creative one" and whether a civil engineer should be sought for the project. We provide complex project services. Every high-quality project is the result of collaboration between architects and specialized civil engineers. The architect coordinates the entire design process and collaboration among the various disciplines to ensure that the result is functional, high-quality, and feasible architecture.

Architekt nemusí pôsobiť v rovnakom meste ako projekt. Hoci miestna znalosť môže byť výhodou, najmä počas realizácie, kvalitná spolupráca dnes nie je podmienená vzdialenosťou. Veľká časť komunikácie a koordinácie prebieha online, osobné stretnutia sa prispôsobujú potrebám projektu. Väčšina realizovaných projektov sa nachádza v Košiciach a na východnom Slovensku, no za kvalitným zadaním radi prídeme kamkoľvek.

An architect does not need to be based in the same city as the project. While local knowledge can be an advantage, particularly during construction, successful collaboration is no longer limited by distance. Much of the communication and coordination takes place online, while in-person meetings are arranged according to the project's needs. Although most of ours completed projects are located in Košice and eastern Slovakia,  we are happy to travel for the right project.
